Where to find the Ostrich Chicks in Mika and the Witch’s Mountain
The ostrich chick side quest initiates upon acquiring your first chick. While theoretically collectible in any order, one chick remains inaccessible until day 3. We'll address that one last.
First Ostrich Chick
To locate the initial chick, embark from the main town towards the Farmlands. Follow the beachline until you encounter cliff rocks adorned with numerous air currents. Harness these currents to ascend to the Farmlands above. Continue your ascent, surpassing the train tracks, where you'll discover the first chick. Return the chick to Cecile, who resides beneath the train shelter near the train tracks.
Second Ostrich Chick
The second chick perches atop the wooden tower at the Farmlands. To reach it, you'll need to utilize air currents elsewhere to gain altitude.
Head past the train tracks and turn right. You'll encounter air currents adjacent to a waterfall. Ride these to ascend to higher ground. Turn right again and locate the Smoke Factory. Opposite the factory is a cliff equipped with an air current. Employ this to gain speed and altitude, enabling you to land on the wooden tower. Return the chick to Cecile.
Third Ostrich Chick
On day 3, when you acquire the light broom, you can obtain the third chick. Return to the waterfall and utilize the air currents to ascend to the higher ground. Instead of turning right towards the Smoke Factory, turn left.
You'll encounter another waterfall. Traverse past it, and you'll observe two air currents. Fly through the first one and employ the boost to ascend into the second. The chick will be directly ahead, near an arrow sign. Cecile's location will have shifted to the far left side of the Farmlands.
