How to unlock the Faker Archetype 

Preconditions:


  • The follower story of the character Alonzo has been activated. It can be done, usually, in the very initial parts of the game inside Martira.
  • Attain Bond Rank of 1 with Alonzo. This can be done by completing the quests and all other interactions in a manner which would be helpful to develop your character's relationship with Alonzo.
  • Be having at least 1875 MAGs in your in-game currency stock; the said currency is required to be spent to unlock the Faker Archetype.

How to Get It:


  • 1. Follower Story Start: In the Martira region, have a talk with Alonzo about what happened - him "borrowing" your dagger. This will begin his follower story.
  • 2. Bond Rank Upgrades: Complete his quests and choose positive options of interacting with him to develop the bond between him and your character. This way, Bond Rank will go up step by step.
  • 3. Archetype Acquisition: Once the Bond Rank with Alonzo goes up to 1, the option to unlock the Faker Archetype opens. This will cost 1875 MAG in return.

Other things to consider:


  • Alonzo will permanently join your party after the Faker Archetype has been unlocked.
  • Faker deals with more support-oriented skills, weakening enemies while strengthening your party.

Important Skills:


  • Tarunda (Level 3): Weakens the attack power of a single enemy for three turns.
  • Rakunda (Level 8): Weakens the defense of a single enemy for three turns.
  • Dekaja (Level 13): Wipes out all buff effects on all enemies.

Additional Notes:


  • Faker's Roguery is an Almighty skill that can be learned at Level 1, which has a chance to inflict the "Forget" status effect on a single enemy. 
  • The Faker Archetype is weak against Piercing and Wind-based attacks.
