In Metaphor ReFantazio, when you're on a quest against the Necromancer or Zorba along the way of the storyline, you will encounter a haughty girl named Catherina at the Regalith Grand Cathedral. Once you free the hostages in the cathedral, what happens?

After releasing the prisoners, you'll be searching for the arrogant girl's friend, but she's already died a terrible death. Still, Catherina is grateful for everything that you've done, and you'll form a new bond with her, which will reward you the Brawler archetype. Akademia can now turn other characters into the Brawler archetype.

There is an indication that Catherina might meet you again and, when the time feels right, will be able to assist you. The new relationship is more important than anything else, which means that Zorba the Necromancer must be defeated.
