Lethal Company has taken an exciting turn with the introduction of the game's first vehicle: the Company Cruiser. Available in version 55, this truck offers a new way to explore the game's moons and fight enemies. How to get Company Cruiser in Lethal Company?
To get the Company Cruiser, you'll need to head to the Dropship Terminal and shell out 400 credits. While the price isn't excessive, the vehicle's performance may make you think twice.
Controls and Operation
The Company Cruiser features three modes:
- Park: The default mode, ideal for parking or performing repairs.
- Reverse: Increases the speed of the vehicle, making it useful for climbing hills.
- Drive: The standard mode for navigating terrain.
To switch between modes, use the shifter inside the vehicle. A red button allows you to exit the car. The Company Cruiser's health is displayed on the hood - an empty gauge means it cannot be used. Returning to orbit with the Cruiser attached replenishes its "health bar".
Tips
- Suitable Terrain: The Company Cruiser does best on moons with flat surfaces like Artifice, due to its sensitive controls.
- Repairs: Hitting obstacles will reduce the Cruiser's health. The hood will ignite with flames if the damage is excessive, rendering the vehicle unusable and causing it to explode if you attempt to drive it in this state.
- Pushing: If you get stuck, you can push the vehicle manually.
- Crashing: Hitting at high speed can be fatal. Aim for trees to destroy them and minimize damage to the Cruiser.
- Entity Removal: The vehicle can take out enemies, but the number of hits required varies. Note that the Cruiser also takes damage from running them over.
- Transport: The Dropship Magnet, a new item, allows you to transport the Company Cruiser to other moons. This makes it a long-term investment, as opposed to a one-time-use item. Additionally, the magnet attracts nearby metal objects to the dropship during storms.
