How to Find Tomes
Tomes in LEGO Fortnite come in two flavours: Prop Tomes and Rune Tomes. Prop Tomes will give you new cosmetic stuff for your village, while Rune Tomes add rune types that will buff your weapon. The former are moderately rare drops on the Lost Isles, but by killing enemies or opening large golden chests you have a good chance of finding a Tome. Three ways to definitely get yourself a Tome:
Obtaining Tomes:
- 1. Complete village quests: In NaNa Village, a Prop Tome is given for completing certain quests.
- 2. Unseal Rift Shrines: Rift Shrines unsealed on Lost Isles hold within them chests guaranteed to give one a Prop Tome upon opening.
- 3. The Den is there to be discovered: A unique Rift Shrine among the Floating Islands opens up the den. If you unlock and open the chest inside, you have the best chance of stumbling upon a Rune Tome.
Usage of Tomes:
1. Equip the Tome in your inventory: For any Tome to be used, it just has to be equipped in your inventory.
2. You can read the Tome: If you interact with it, it will initiate a minor animation of reading.

- Prop Tome: A random crafting option from the Salty Seaport selection.
