Here is a detailed tutorial on how to set up split-screen in LEGO Fortnite so you can play with your loved ones:

  • To access the LEGO Fortnite Lobby, launch Fortnite.
  • Link up the spare controller.
  • Choose the gaming account of the second participant.
  • It is not possible to use a guest account or a Quick Play console account.
  • When a player selects a console account in Fortnite, the game will prompt them to connect their Epic account. 
  • By connecting their Epic account, players will have access to all of their locker content, including costumes, passes, quests, and accomplishments.
  • The second person will show up in the Lobby once they've logged into Fortnite.
  • Once LEGO Fortnite is launched, split-screen mode will be activated automatically.

On Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, you can now play LEGO Fortnite in split-screen mode. We suggest using a bigger screen when playing LEGO Fortnite in split-screen mode for the optimal experience.


Epic Games has neglected to include the option for PC players, which is somewhat disappointing. If you're want to play LEGO Fortnite split-screen, you might have to splurge on a console that supports two accounts.
