Step 1: Gather the necessary pieces


To build a driver’s seat in LEGO Fortnite, you will need to gather the following pieces:

  • - 2 black 1x2 plates
  • - 2 black 1x1 plates
  • - 1 black 2x4 tile
  • - 2 black 2x2 tiles
  • - 1 red 1x2 tile

  • - 1 red 2x2 tile
  • - 1 black 1x2 slope
  • - 1 black 1x1 slope
  • - 1 black 2x2 slope
  • - 1 black 1x2 jumper plate
  • - 1 black 1x1 clip plate

  • - 1 black 1x4 plate with 2 studs

Step 2: Building the base

Start by placing the 2 black 2x2 plates next to each other, with a 1-stud gap in between. Then, place the 2 black 2x4 plates on top of the 2x2 plates to create the base of the driver’s seat.

Step 3: Adding the seat


Take the 2 black 1x2 plates and place them on top of the 2x4 plates, leaving a small gap in between. Then, add the 2 black 1x1 plates on top of the 1x2 plates to create the seat.

Step 4: Building the backrest


Take the red 2x2 tile and place it on the back of the 2x4 plates. Then, add the black 1x2 slope on top of the red tile to create the backrest. Next, take the black 1x1 slope and place it on top of the 1x2 slope to create a higher backrest.

Step 5: Adding details


To make the driver’s seat look more realistic, add the red 1x2 tile on the back of the seat and the red 1x1 tile on the front of the seat. Then, place the 2 black 2x2 tiles on the sides of the seat to create armrests. Next, add the black 1x2 jumper plate on top of the 2x2 plates to create a steering wheel mount.

Step 6: Steering wheel and controls


To create the steering wheel, take the black 1x1 clip plate and place the black 1x1 round plate on top of it. Then, attach the black 1x1 clip plate onto the jumper plate. Next, take the black 1x1 round brick and place it on top of the black 1x1 round plate to create a steering wheel. To add controls, take the black 1x1 plate with clip and attach it to the side of the jumper plate. Then, add the black 1x1 plate with clip on top of the 1x2 plate with handle to create a gearshift.

Step 7: Final touches


To complete the driver’s seat, add the black 1x4 plate with 2 studs and the black 1x2 plate with 2 studs at the back of the seat to create a seatbelt. Then, attach the black 1x1 round plate on the front of the seat to create a gearshift knob.
