How to Perform a Stealth Kill in Jagged Alliance 3

Stealth kills are an essential aspect of tactical gameplay in Jagged Alliance 3. Mastering the art of silently eliminating enemies can give you a significant advantage, allowing you to take out key targets without alerting the rest of the enemy forces.  The first step in performing a stealth kill is identifying an enemy who is not aware of your group's location. Look for isolated enemies who are far away from their comrades or those who are engaged in activities that make them vulnerable.

 Choosing the right target is crucial for a successful stealth kill. Prioritize high-value targets such as enemy leaders or individuals with valuable information. Taking them out silently can cripple enemy forces and provide your team with a strategic advantage.

 When it comes to executing a stealth kill, the selection of the right mercenary is essential. Look for mercenaries with high dexterity and agility stats, as these attributes directly impact their ability to move silently and strike swiftly.

 To enable Hide mode, press the H key on your keyboard. This mode allows your mercenary to blend into the environment, making it harder for enemies to spot them.

 The recommended weapon for a stealth kill is a knife. Knives are silent, deadly, and easily concealable. They allow for quick and precise strikes without generating unnecessary noise.

 Using a melee weapon for a stealth kill offers several benefits. Unlike firearms, there is no risk of alerting nearby enemies with gunshots. Additionally, melee kills leave no evidence behind, reducing the chances of being detected or raising an alarm.

Once you have selected your target, access the Prepare Takedown option. This allows your mercenary to plan and execute a swift and effective kill.

 Understanding the stealth kill indicator is crucial to a successful kill. The indicator represents the noise level generated by the attack. It ranges from one to five bars, with one being the quietest and five being the loudest.

To ensure a successful stealth kill, keep the indicator within the optimal range of three to four bars. This range guarantees a balance between a swift kill and minimal noise, reducing the risk of alerting nearby enemies.
