Thanks to KRAFTON's innovative facial capture technology, you can create a Zoi that bears a striking resemblance to yourself, provided you have an iOS mobile device. While the process involves a few steps and the initial results might require some fine-tuning, it offers a unique and personalized starting point for your virtual avatar. This guide will walk you through the process of using InZOI's facial capture feature.

Getting Started with Facial Capture in InZOI:

Access Character Creation:

• Begin by either starting a "New Game" from the main menu or accessing the existing character creator.

Select Facial Capture:

• In the character creator, locate and click on the "Facial Capture" option in the horizontal bar at the top of your screen.

Network Check:

• A window will appear, prompting you to ensure that your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Verify this and then click "Next."

QR Code and App Installation:

• You'll now see a QR code displayed on your screen.
• On your iOS device: Scan this QR code. This will direct you to install the "Live Link Face" app.
• Important Note: Currently, the Live Link Face app is exclusively available for Apple devices running iOS 16 or later. Android users will unfortunately not be able to utilize this feature at this time.

Continue Through the Initial Prompts:

• Follow the on-screen instructions on your PC by clicking "Next" through the subsequent introductory windows.

Connecting the Live Link Face App to InZOI:

Open Facial Capture in InZOI:

• Once theLive Link Face app is installed on your iOS device, tap the "FacialCapture" button at the top of the character creation screen in InZOI.Double-check that your mobile device is still on the same Wi-Fi networkas your PC.

Scan the QR Code (Again, if needed):

• If prompted within the app, scan the QR code displayed in InZOI again.

Choose Capture Mode:

• Within the Live Link Face app, you will likely be presented with different capture modes. Choose "Live Link (ARKit)."

Access App Settings:

• In the Live Link Face app on your iOS device, tap "Settings" located in the top-left corner.

Navigate to Streaming Settings:

• Within the Settings menu, tap on "Streaming."

Add a Target:

• Tap on "Add Target."

Enter Your PC's IP Address:

• You will now need to enter the IP address of the PC you are using to play InZOI.
• To find your PC's IP address in InZOI: On your PC screen, in the facial capture setup window, click the "Read" button. InZOI will then display your computer's IP address. Enter thisIP address into the "Host" field in the Live Link Face app. You canleave the "Port" option at its default setting.

Allow Network Search (Optional):

• The app may ask for permission to search your local network. Allow this if prompted.

Exit App Settings:

• Once the IP address is entered, exit the Settings menu in the Live Link Face app.

Completing the Facial Capture Process:

Cycle Through PC Windows:

• On yourPC, continue clicking "Next" through the facial capture setup windows in InZOI until you reach a screen where you need to choose a device toconnect.

Select Your Mobile Device:

• Select the name of the iOS mobile device where you have installed the Live Link Face app.

Snap a Selfie:

• The LiveLink Face app on your iOS device will now likely prompt you to take aselfie. Position your face clearly within the frame and capture theimage.

Wait for Connection:

• Allow amoment for the InZOI game on your PC to recognize and establish aconnection with the Live Link Face app on your mobile device.

Confirm Overwrite:

• Once theconnection is established, a new window will pop up in the InZOIcharacter creator asking you to confirm that you want to overwrite thecurrent Zoi preset. Click "Confirm."

Rendering Your Likeness:

• InZOI will now process the selfie taken through the app and render a new Zoi character based on the captured image of your face.

Fine-Tuning and Customization:

• Once theinitial rendering is complete, you can then use all of InZOI's extensive customization options to fine-tune, tinker, and tweak your Zoi'sappearance to achieve an even closer resemblance to yourself.
