As players step into the captain’s quarters in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s Himalayan chapter, it’s time to swap the iconic Indy fedora for a thinking cap. Here, they’ll tackle the Captain’s Cipher, unraveling its mysteries and discovering the door code needed to complete the puzzle once and for all.
Indiana Jones: Solve the Captain’s Cipher
Upon entering the Captain’s Quarters, players will encounter a table featuring several lifeless Nazis. A note for the Captain’s Code rests on the table, highlighting the crucial letters players should focus on: “JÖGM.” Here are the 4 letters that need to be entered into the translator box.
Proceed past the table, where players are on the hunt for the cipher box located at the far end of the room to the left. In this box, you will need to select and arrange 4 cipher wheels in a precise order, from left to right:
- The wheel located on the floor next to the cipher wheel should be positioned in the first slot. R, C, D, O, A, J, B, S
- Position the top wheel on the shelf adjacent to the cipher into the 2nd slot. Letters: L, U, F, H, E, K, T, Ö
- The wheel located on the shelf next to the note should be positioned in the third slot. (letters: O, A, H, I, G, U, V, Z)
- The wheel located on the floor next to the cipher wheel should be positioned in the 4th slot (letters: B, P, W, Y, M, T, N, X).
Insert these letters into the cipher, engage with the box lid, and then utilize the left stick to enter “JÖGM”. Players can now examine the letters beneath “JÖGM” to uncover the keyword that will decode the message, which is: BLUT.
Once you've located BLUT, proceed to the Code Table situated on the table with the deceased Nazis. Focus on the left column, where you'll find the word BLUT in the 12th row, accompanied by the four corresponding numbers. 3666.
