As with any online game, players may occasionally find themselves wanting to switch servers for a variety of reasons, such as wanting to play with friends who are on a different server or simply wanting to explore a new environment. In this blog post, we will guide you through the process of changing servers in Honkai Star Rail.
Restarting the Game
The first step to changing servers in Honkai Star Rail is to exit and reopen the game. This will ensure that any changes you make are properly registered by the game's servers. So, go ahead and close out of the game completely and then reopen it.
Selecting Current Server
Once you've reopened the game, you'll need to select the current server that you're in. To do this, navigate to the "Server" option on the main menu and then select the server you're currently playing on. For example, if you're playing on the America server, select "America."
Choosing New Server
Now that you've selected your current server, it's time to choose the new server you want to switch to. To do this, simply select the "Change Server" option on the same menu and then select the server you wish to switch to. Let's say you want to switch to the Asia server, so you'll select "Asia."
Confirming Server Change
After selecting the server you wish to switch to, you'll need to confirm your selection. You'll be prompted to confirm twice, so make sure you select "Confirm" both times. Once you've done that, you'll need to start the game again for the changes to take effect.
Important Note
It's important to note that changing servers in Honkai Star Rail does not sync your game data across servers. This means that if you switch from the America server to the Asia server, for example, you'll be starting fresh with no progress or saved data from your previous server.
