There are three main ways to unlock Disillusionment Chests in Hogwarts Legacy.

 The first is to cast a Disillusionment Charm on the chest. This spell behaves similarly to a Chameleon, enabling you to take on the color and texture of the environment when you move. However, the developers suggested in a tweet that this may not be the only way.

The second method is to drink an Invisibility Potion. This potion renders the drinker temporarily invisible, allowing them to pass through the chest without being detected. The effect does not last long, however, so it’s important to act quickly.

The third and final way to unlock a Disillusionment Chest is by using the Conjunctivitis Curse. This dark spell can be cast directly on the chest to make it blind, thus allowing you to pass through unnoticed.
