How to increase gear slots in Hogwarts Legacy

Gear Slots are the extra storage space needed to equip all the spells, potions, and gear you wish to use in your adventures. Once you have the required Gear Slots, you can equip your desired gear to make your character even more customized and powerful.

Increasing your Gear Slots in Hogwarts Legacy is a lot easier than you think. The only way to expand your Gear Slots is through the completion of Merlin Trials. You can take on these challenges throughout the game world that Merlin left behind. Each trial you complete will bring you closer to increasing your Gear Slots. To track your progress, go to the Challenges Menu, then to the Exploration area.Your first Challenge will have you completing two Merlin Trials, which will reward you with an extra 4 Gear Slots. The next Challenge will require you to complete 6 Merlin Trials, resulting in even more Gear Slots. There are a total of 5 Challenges available that require you to finish Merlin Trials, giving you the potential to increase your Gear Slots by 20 in total.
