How To Make Bug Rubber in Grounded 2

Sourcing the Ingredients for Bug Rubber
To create Bug Rubber, you'll need two primary ingredients: Sap and Acid Glands. Both are relatively common in the early stages of the game, but knowing where to look will make your gathering efforts much more efficient.
Finding Sap
Sap is the easier of the two materials to collect. Its distinct brown and orangeappearance makes it stand out against the landscape. You can typicallyfind it in clumps on logs, rocks, and even on the ground. To harvest the larger clusters of Sap, you will need to equip your Omni Hammer.
Hunting for Acid Glands
Acid Glands are a bit trickier to acquire, as they are a drop from specific types of insects. Your best bet for farming them is by hunting Red Soldier Ants. Unlike their smaller counterparts, these ants are highly aggressive and will attack on sight. They are not random wanderers; you'll need toseek out their colonies to find them consistently.
The Hatchery Anthill is an excellent early-game location to find Red Soldier Ants. You canfind them both on the surface and deep within the colony itself. Whenfighting them, be prepared for them to block your attacks. When they do, a good strategy is to reposition yourself behind them to continue yourassault or switch to a ranged weapon to attack from a distance.
Another source for Acid Glands is Larva, which can be found in the various trenches scattered across the yard.However, Red Soldier Ants tend to be a more reliable and abundant source for this valuable resource.
The Crafting Process
Once you have gathered both Sap and Acid Glands, you are ready to begincrafting. Bug Rubber cannot be made using the basic crafting wheel. Youwill need to build a Workbench to unlock more advanced recipes.
After constructing your Workbench, interact with it and navigate to the Resources section. If you have already analyzed the Sap and Acid Glands at a Resource Analyzer, the Bug Rubber recipe should appear on your list of available crafts.Fortunately, the recipe is quite simple, making it easy to produce alarge quantity of Bug Rubber without excessive farming.
