How to Get Weed Stems in Grounded 2

In the world of Grounded 2, a survival game that shrinks players down to the size of an ant, resources are everything. Among the most crucial early-game materials are Weed Stems. These sturdy stems are the building blocks for a wide range of essential structures, from fundamental base components to advanced contraptions like Hatcheries. To thrive in the park, you'll need a steady supply, but acquiring them isn't as straightforward as gathering other common materials.

Locating and Harvesting Weed Stems

Unlike the abundant blades of grass, Weed Stems are a more exclusive resource. They are exclusively harvested from dandelions. These plants stand out from the surrounding greenery with their robust, brown stems. An easy way to spot them is to look for their signature yellow "Dandelion Tufts" that poke out above the sea of grass.
To collect Weed Stems, you need to use your Omni-Tool to chop down the dandelion plant. A single dandelion can yield several Weed Stems, depending on its size. The good news is that dandelions, like grass, will regrow over time, so you can establish a reliable harvesting spot near your base without fear of depletion.

The Challenge of Storage and Transport

One of the unique challenges with Weed Stems is their size. They areconsidered a large resource, meaning they can't be stored in yourregular inventory. Instead, you have to carry them on your shoulder, similar to Grass Planks. This means you can only carry a limited numberat a time, and you won't be able to use your weapons or other toolswhile they're on your back.

To store your harvested Weed Stems, you must craft a Stem Pallet. This special storage container is designed specifically for these large resources. A Stem Pallet can hold up to 20 Weed Stems, and you'll needto place them on the pallet one by one. Luckily, Stem Pallets are easyto craft using basic materials like Pebblets, Crude Rope, and Dry GrassChunks, so you shouldn't have any trouble building them as needed.

It's important to remember that Weed Stems left on the ground will despawnafter a certain amount of time. To ensure you don't lose yourhard-earned materials, always store them on a Stem Pallet as soon as you can. When you're building, the game will automatically draw from anyStem Pallets you have in range, making your construction projects muchmore efficient.

By understanding how to effectivelyfind, harvest, and store Weed Stems, you can ensure a strong start andbuild a secure foothold in the vast and dangerous world of Grounded 2.
