How to Get to Sanctuary Grove
Post-Campaign
The region named Sanctuary Grove is accessible only once the game's campaign has been completed. Once the story is complete:
- 1. Return to Sindri's House: Go to Sindri's workshop.
- 2. Summon Ratatoskr: Throw the Leviathan Axe at the wind chime to the right of the door to summon the squirrel messenger.
- 3. Pouch of Yggdrasil Seeds: Now, go and speak with Ratatoskr and fill the Pouch of Yggdrasil Seeds with Realm Seeds that are needed to unlock Mystic Gateways.
- 4. To Midgard: Take any Mystic Gateway in order to teleport your way to Midgard.
- 5. Undiscovered Gateway Unlocked: While on Midgard's fast travel screen, select Undiscovered Gateway and hold the X button to show Sanctuary Grove.
Note: Sanctuary Grove can only be accessed via Mystic Gateway after the story has been completed.
Finding Mirkweed
As players enter Sanctuary Grove for the first time, they are treated to the touching reunion of Freya and Chaurli, the enormous tortoise. To the left of Chaurli is the plant Mirkweed. It is among the most important items for the "Nine Realms in Bloom" side quest and a trophy.
