The Nitro Fist melee weapon can be found in chests and ground loot while exploring wasteland ruins. This rare and epic melee weapon functions like a boxing glove and has up to four charge points in 8 seconds. When equipped with this melee weapon, you can perform an overhead attack, a three-hit combo, or an aerial kick that will launch enemies into the air. The three-hit combo does not use a charge mechanic, but both the hook attack and the aerial attack consume one charge. You can also use the Earth Smash maneuver to knock down enemies with a meteor impact. You'll find this new melee weapon in interesting locations like Brutal Plazahead, Nitrodome, and Redline Rig. Most of the chests in these three points of interest contain unique weapons and items, but be careful as other players may land in these locations.

There is also a mythical version of this melee weapon called Megalo Don's Nitro Fists, but to get them you must defeat the Wasteland Warriors boss, Megalo Don. This boss can be found by traveling through the Sand Steppe and Brutal Outpost hotspots. His column can be seen from afar, escorted by a military bus. The best way to fight this battle is to defeat the NPCs who drive military buses, control vehicles, and chase Megalo Don. After defeating Megalo Don, the following items will appear:
