Winterfest is now live, complete with the beautiful mini-event featuring Mariah Carey, only this time against a snowy backdrop near Crackshot's Cabin. She burst forth from the ice, lighting into her hit festive song All I Want For Christmas Is You, catapulting players into the air before vanishing into thin air. Mariah is back as an NPC, giving away free Holiday Presents to spread cheer.

Mariah has now taken her place at the original site of the ice block from which she came from in the southeast of Brutal Boxcars, and just a stone throw away Crackshot's Cabin, is home to yet another festive musical legend. To acquire a legendary Holiday Present simply speak with Mariah, and select the Holiday Present option for 400 Gold. You can pick up a free mythic Holiday Present by emote with the singer, make sure to do it at the beginning of every match as you will only be able to claim one. These presents often have really valuable high-level items in them so it pays to be first there.

To claim your free mythic Holiday Present, simply stand on the circle platform and use an emote. It will automatically select the All I Want For Christmas Is You emote. Mariah usually starts to sing along with you, and after about 15 seconds, she will throw a special Holiday Present box at your feet.

The free mythic Holiday Present looks exactly like any other present, except it doesn't cost a thing! The Holiday Present is filled to the brim with a wonderful mix of holiday-themed and rare items, including, but not limited to:

Restorative items like shield pots or medkits Peppermints that grant health and movement speed Boons of Wind, Fire, or Water Armaments Chilled Cubes Chiller Grenades

Since Mariah is an NPC, you can talk to her like any other character; you can ask her about being a queen and listen to some nice lore about Winterfest. Along with all her main services, she provides a healing top-up, so if you're trekking through a storm or defending yourself against another player, she's got your back to refill that health.
