How to Find and Pilot the Star Destroyer in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3

Fortnite's Star Wars season, "Galactic Battle," has been active for almost a month, and Epic Games continues to introduce fresh content weekly. In a recent update, players can now pilot the formidable Star Destroyer, bringing a new level of chaos to the island.
This guide will explain how to locate the portal and pilot the Star Destroyer in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.

Fortnite : Find and Pilot the Star Destroyer

Similar to a previous Godzilla event where players could transform and unleash havoc, this season allows you to command the iconic Star Destroyer. Unlike the random portal spawns of the Godzilla event, the Star Destroyer portal is now available in every match.
When the second storm circle appears, a message will pop up on your screen stating, "Star Destroyer Portal is open." To find its location, simply open your map and look for the distinct Star Destroyer icon. It's clearly marked and easy to spot.Once you've identified the portal's location, make your way there swiftly. Only the first player to enter the Star Destroyer portal will gain control of the ship for that match, making speed a critical factor.

What Happens After You Enter the Portal

After you enter the portal, a Rift will open, and the Star Destroyer willmaterialize above the island. You will be transported inside the shipand granted access to its control console. From this point, you'll have 1 minute and 20 seconds to rain destruction down on the battlefield.

You'll have three primary controls at your disposal:

• Left-click: To fire the ship's powerful blasters.
• Right-click: To zoom in for more precise aiming.
• Hold "F": To exit early if you wish to leave the Star Destroyer before the timer expires.

Enemy players are clearly marked with red arrows, and it typically takes just two shots to eliminate them with the blasters. It's a fun, chaotic opportunity to truly cause some mayhem, perfect for any Star Wars enthusiast.

Tips for Getting the Star Destroyer First

Since only one player can pilot the Star Destroyer per game, being the first to reach it is paramount. As soon as the second storm circle forms, immediately open your map and start moving towards the portal's location. Landing near the center of the map at the beginning of the game or utilizingmobility items and vehicles can significantly help you beat otherplayers to the spot.
