One of the Week 5 quests in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 challenges players to fall from five stories or above without taking damage. While fall damage is a standard mechanic in Fortnite, there are a couple of clever ways to bypass it, making this quest surprisingly easy to complete, often within the first minute of a match. This guide will show you the exact locations and methods to achieve this.

How to Fall 5 Stories or Above Without Taking Damage in Fortnite Easily

There are two primary methods to complete this quest: utilizing Ziplines or landing in water.

Method 1: Ziplines Are Your Best Friend (Quickest Method)

This method is ideal for completing the quest right at the start of a match.

Head to the Electricity Pylon: Land at the large electricity pylon structure located just north of Utopia City. You can spot it easily on the map.

Ascend the Pylon: Once you land, take the zipline that leads to the very top of this tall structure.

Take the South Zipline: From the top, locate and use the zipline that travels south, in the direction of Utopia City.

Jump into the Valley: As you are traveling along this zipwire, look down. You should see the ground drop significantly into a valley-like area below. When you are roughly halfway across the zipline and over this low ground, jump off the zipline.

Land Safely: Thanks to Fortnite's mechanics, jumping off a zipline prevents you from taking fall damage for a short period upon landing. Because you've jumped from a high point into the lower valley, you will have successfully dropped the required five stories.

As soon as you land safely, you should receive a confirmation message that you've completed the quest. This will reward you with 30,000 XP, helping you level up your Battle Pass and unlock new cosmetics.

Method 2: Jump into Water

This method is also very reliable and can be done at various locations with water.

Build a Ramp (or find a high natural point): At the beginning of a standard Battle Royale match, quickly harvestsome materials. Build a ramp (or a stack of floors) that is at leastfive pieces high. Alternatively, find a naturally high point on the map, such as a cliff or a tall structure, that overlooks a body of water.

Locate Water: Ensure there is a body of water (a river, lake, or ocean) directly below your jumping point.

Jump and Land in Water: Jump off the top of your built structure or the natural high point and aim to land directly in the water below.

No Fall Damage: Landing in water completely negates fall damage in Fortnite.

You will receive the quest completion notification as soon as you land in the water.

Recommended Location for Water Jump:

• Shining Span Bridge: A great place to perform the water jump is on the bridge at Shining Span. Build a small ramp structure a few levels up from the road that runsacross the bridge, and then jump off into the water directly below. Bemindful of potential Mythic Boss spawns at named locations, especiallyearly in a match.

These two methods make completing the "Fall from 5 stories or above without taking damage" quest in Week 5 of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 incredibly easy, allowing you to quickly earn your XP reward and moveon to the other, generally more straightforward, weekly quests.
