How to get Nitro in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3?
Nitro is a new item added to Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 and can be found randomly in chests throughout the map. Unfortunately, there is no specific place where you can be sure to find Nitro. How to Damage Opponents While Infused With Nitro in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3?
Finding a new item is only half the battle. Now you need to "recharge Nitro" and use it to damage enemies. These are the steps on how to damage enemies with Nitro in Fortnite:
- Find Nitro as a random item in chests or as a spawn location in the world.
- Use Nitro as a weapon and destroy it to fill the fire.
- Attack an enemy by running towards them and causing an explosion or shooting them while they are nearby.
The first step is the hardest because you have to find Nitro. Whether you defeat Megalo Don or find him in a chest, you can get Flask by pressing "R2" (PlayStation) or "RT" (Xbox). After that, your character will be sprayed with nitro. Then find the enemy and run towards him. This will cause a small explosion. Shooting them or hitting them with another weapon will also count as "damage" when you are actively "infused" with Nitro effects. If you don't deal enough damage with Nitro, don't panic. Typically, an item will be used many times before it is sold out. However, if you want to make sure you complete the quest, you can get the Megalo Don Medal as it grants you unlimited power.
