How to Connect a Guitar Hero Controller to Fortnite
Step 1: Check for USB Dongle Compatibility
Before we begin, it's important to ensure that you have a USB dongle that is compatible with your Guitar Hero controller. We recommend using the DOYO guitar controller, as it has been tested and proven to work well for this setup. Please note that Bluetooth connectivity is not yet supported for this particular method.
Step 2: Install JoyToKey Software
To map the buttons on your Guitar Hero controller to keyboard and mouse inputs, we will be using a free software called JoyToKey. This software emulates keyboard and mouse functions on your controller, allowing you to play Fortnite seamlessly. You can download JoyToKey from their official website and follow the installation instructions provided.
Step 3: Connecting and Mapping Buttons
Once you have JoyToKey installed on your PC, it's time to physically connect your Guitar Hero controller.
