The first thing you have to do is go to Control Panel> System and Security> Windows Firewall> Advanced settings. Then on the left side select where it says Inbound rules, select New rule and then in Port> Next and in the text box next to Specific local ports you will have to put "5222, 443, 80" and then select Next as many times as necessary .
When the Name box comes out you will have to put "UE4" and press Finish.
If you have a Mac, here are the steps to allow Fortnite to go through the firewall:
Mac users will start by going to System Preferences> Security or Security and Privacy> Firewall, open the padlock icon in the preferences panel and enter an administrator name and password.
Then go to Firewall Options> Add application () and choose the application for which you want to allow incoming connection privileges, press Add and finally OK.
A simple solution but not everyone takes into account is to have the client updated, so if you have automatic updates disabled, we recommend activating them as soon as possible.
