PS4: PS4 users who have not yet noticed, the game shows your PlayStation Network online ID and not Epic. So to change the PSN ID carries some potential risks, which will be better to review and take into account in the official PlayStation guide.
Xbox One: Similarly, the game shows your Xbox gamertag ID and not Epix. So to change the name you will have to change the name of the account to pay any potentially associated fees, for this Xbox also has an official guide that we recommend you review.
Nintendo Switch: In the case of Nintendo Switch users, they will have to contact Player Support in order to change their username.
Mobile: Adroid and iOS users will have to go to their account information page on the Epic Games website and log in to that account. After logging in, they will have to look for a box that says "Name to show", write on that box the new name you want to use replacing the previous one and finally look for the "Save changes" button at the bottom. You will have to use your new name at least two weeks before you can change it again.
Indifferently if you are a PC or Mac user, what you have to do is go to your account information page on the official Epic Games website and log in to that account. Again look for the box that says "Display Name", place the new name you will use and press the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.
