You'll want to gather five in total from one of the Crashed Cargo or Crash Site locations to complete its associated quest. You can do it however you like, but generally speaking, it's easiest to choose one of those locations and gather all five from therein.
In these positions, you can search for things whichever way you want. This includes opening different types of containers-ammo boxes, chests-and just picking up stuff from the floor. Anything you can find can be an item, from weapons to healing potions to shield potions.
Pick up any first five things that come into your view, whether you want to keep them or not. Actually, it'll actually speed up the process of finishing the assignment because you are focusing on getting five items in total rather than just getting items that you want to use-you can always delete anything you have picked up that you don't like.
The more challenging part of this challenge is locating Crashed Cargo and Crash Site on the map. Both of these locations are more landmarks than POIs, so you won't be able to see their names on the map-meaning they can be somewhat tricky to find.
Location of Crash Site in Fortnite Remix
The biggest island, Crash Site, is actually situated toward the northwest corner of the island. Not being connected by zipline nor any other means, you're going to have to swim, take a boat across the sea, or land directly on it from the War Bus.
This landmark is south of Sweaty Sands, and west of Pleasant Park. A few bits of plane wreckage dot this otherwise deserted island. Based on the fact that no other players land on this island at the same time, you really should be able to finish the assignment off of the little stuff that is usually there.
It will say Crash Site in the lower left corner as you enter the area, so you'll know you're in the right place. Every time you visit a landmark, there is a small pop-up with the name of the landmark in order to let you know where you are. You'll be rewarded with extra experience if you visit it for the first time, which you can put towards your rewards in your battle pass.
Where to Find the Crashed Cargo Fortnite Remix
Crashed Cargo can be found near the top middle-west edge of the island. This marked coastal location contains a great many empty shipping containers and crates strewn about. The majority of them are sitting on the beach, but you'll also likely see a number of them floating about in the ocean.
You can find the Crashed Cargo location just west of Sweaty Sands. Much like Crash Site, the place is generally quite light on items, but if you are quick enough, you should be able to scavenge enough to finish off the task.
