Final Fantasy Tactics that allows players to recruit its main protagonist, Cloud Strife. The process is lengthy and convoluted, but it is one of the most rewarding quests in the game.Here is a step-by-step guide to unlocking Cloud in

Final Fantasy Tactics: How to Unlock Cloud
The quest to recruit Cloud is a multi-part side story that begins inChapter 4 and is connected to other optional characters. You must haverecruited Mustadio in Chapter 2 and kept him in your party to even start the questline.
Start the Questline: Once you are in Chapter 4, return to the Clockwork City of Goug. A cutscene with Mustadio and his father, Besrudio, will trigger, inwhich they find a strange iron sphere. This officially begins the sidequest.Recruit Beowulf, Reis, and Construct 8: To power the iron sphere, you first need to complete the side story involving Beowulf and Reis.- Go to the bar in the Mining Town of Gollund and read the rumor "The Haunted Mine."
- Head to the Royal City of Lesalia, where you will meet the knight Beowulf. Agree to help him.
- Return to the Mining Town of Gollund and fight through a series of battles. In the final battle, you must protect Reis, a Holy Dragon.
- After the battles, Beowulf and Reis will join your party, and Beowulf will give you the Aquarius Stone.
- Return to the Clockwork City of Goug with the Aquarius Stone to activate the iron sphere, which will summon Construct 8, who will join your party.
Find the Flower Girl: Continue with the main story until you reach Sal Ghidos. You will encounter a flower girl who looks like Aerith from Final Fantasy 7. You must buy a flower from her for 1 gil. This is a crucial step to proceed.Battle at Nelveska Temple: After buying the flower, go back to the Clockwork City of Goug.Besrudio will show you another unusual device that needs to be powered.You will need to travel to Nelveska Temple (unlocked by a rumor in the bar at Zeltennia Castle) and defeat Construct 7 to get the Cancer Stone. This is a difficult battle, so be prepared.Summon Cloud: Return to the Clockwork City of Goug with the Cancer Stone. Anothercutscene will play, and the device will summon Cloud. However, he willfreak out and run away.Recruit Cloud: To finallyrecruit him, head back to Sal Ghidos. You will find Cloud being hassledby a group of thugs. A battle will begin, and you must protect Cloudfrom the enemies. Once you defeat them, you will have the option torecruit Cloud, who joins your party.
