Venturing into the Mistria Mines, especially the dangerous floors beyond the Earth Seal on floor 41, requires quite an enhancement in your gear. No doubt, Silver Ore will definitely take a significant place in your enhancements, but there needs to be a decent base for you to begin such a dangerous adventure.

Iron-tier armor, weapons, and tools should be your short-term priority. This upgrade is going to become of vital importance in the face of formidable challenges that await you in the Mines. Of course, your enhanced gear would be much better complemented with a reliable supply of Stamina. Good choices would be Beet Soup, which provides a generous amount of 230 Health and Stamina, and Lobster Roll, offering a more modest but still valuable 150-point boost to both. This can be almost of a crutch for the resource-starved or poor chef with the Full Restore Spell. Just note that it drains one Mana point with every cast; proper use is most definitely called for.

How to get Silver Ore in Fields of Mistria?

This prized material can be found in the Mines, spanning levels 41 to 60. To tap into this underground bonanza, adventurers must first break through the Water Seal and the Earth Seal. Once these two seals are broken, miners will find silvery nodes that bear a striking resemblance to Iron Ore. These nodes require three precise strikes with an Iron Pickaxe in order to harvest the valuable Silver Ore.

Beyond traditional mining, though, fortune favors the prepared adventurer. 'X marks the spot' dig sites can sometimes hide veins of Silver Ore, providing a much less labor-intensive means of acquisition. Chance-oriented adventurers will find Treasure Chests — while rare — sometimes include large amounts of Silver Ore. These chests are often obscured by other breakable objects, so a keen eye is essential to their discovery.

The players who have extra Tesserae can skip the hassle of mining. After defeating the Earth Seal, Blacksmiths will sell Silver Ore to players for 100 Tesserae a block. Those who want to buy Silver tools and weapons, however, will have to reach much deeper into their pockets, as these cost 3,000 Tesserae each. The choice between the rush of the mine and the convenience of commerce lies within each player.

Silver Ore is the most basic material required to craft equipment in the Fields of Mistria. An armor, weapon, or tool would need an investment of 40 Silver Ores. The raw material needs to be processed to Silver Ingots first, which consumes ten Ore for one Ingot. Then this is used as four base components to create what is required.

A large decrease in resource consumption is opened to players upon reaching level 30 in Blacksmithing. At Caldarus' Statue, it is the 'Silver Expert' perk that allows material usage optimization. It brings down Silver Ore used per Ingot production to nine from ten. This means an item creation will require only 36 Silver Ores instead of 40. This efficiency boost really saves a player in the latter stages of the game when higher-tier equipment is called for.
