Race length determines the number of laps you must complete in a race. This not only affects the total time needed to complete the race but also affects your strategy when racing on different tracks, including pit stops and tire compounds used in qualifying and main races.
How to change race lenght in F1 24?
In this game, you can change the race duration in the settings screen after selecting the race mode. However, it is worth noting that the duration of the races can only be changed before the weekend begins. Once the weekend starts you will have to finalize it with the selected settings and you will only be able to change them before starting a new weekend. With that in mind, here's how to change the race length in the game:
- Go to the mode you want to compete in and go to the settings screen.
- There look for an option called “Weekend Structure”.
- Depending on this setting, you can change the session duration.
- You can also switch between training runs and sprints in this menu.
- You can find options to customize the duration of Electronic ArtsRace in the weekend structure.
Here are the different race lengths you'll find in F1 24:
- Very short (5 rounds)
- Short (25% of actual race duration)
- Average (35% of actual race duration)
- Long (50% of the actual duration of the race)
- Complete (100% actual race duration)
Now you know how to change the race duration in F1 24, no matter which mode you are playing. When you play in Career or My Team mode, you can also change the race duration on the Continue to Next Session screen.
