Discover How to complete Ground Zero quests in Escape From Tarkov with our explanatory guide today.
On Day 1, you will be sent to Ground Zero to get a feel for the controls and objectives of Escape from Tarkov with four missions. Among the missions that may be found there are First in Line, Saving the Mole, Shooting Cans, Burning Rubber, and Ground Zero.
The rest of the three missions of Ground Zero in Escape from Tarkov, out of which Burning Rubber is the most straightforward of all, need very thorough knowledge of the location and at least some deliberation if one does not want to die too quickly.
How to complete Ground Zero quests in Escape From Tarkov?
The objectives given for the Saving the Mole mission are as under:
- You will find the group of USEC PMC in the parking of TerraGroup complex in Ground Zero.
- Find the scientist working in the lab near Ground Zero.
- Contact the head of the lab
- Hack into the computer belonging to the researcher and steal his hard drive
Both the scientist and the USEC PMC group can be found in the Terragroup building. The white TerraGroup van is located in the parking lot on the left side of the main door; go to the back, and the assignment will be activated.
When done, head inside and take a right into the main foyer. Pull through the far back, then around the corner to the left to find the scientist buried under debris. Loot him to obtain the key.
Head back towards the main lobby, shortly thereafter take a right and go upstairs. Look for a room marked "4". To accomplish this objective, locate the hard disk, which is usually on the central desk and has a purple galaxy screensaver, then hack it.
Burning Rubber
- The Burning Rubber mission has but one objective:
- Paid vehicle extraction can be used at Ground Zero.
Of the four, Burning Rubber is probably the easiest since it only requires one location. To the right of the main Terragroup building, there is a black car with a license plate reading 'TAO002'. You will want to drive toward the vehicle to queue the pop-up and extract.
The First to Stand
First in Line Quest Objectives:
- The Emerson station is located at Ground Zero.
- Liberate three pharmaceuticals
Here, it'll help to stand in front of the Terragroup headquarters so that you can get your bearings. Keep your eyes peeled to left as you head down the road. As you pass the Emercom Checkpoint-1 on left, you'll begin to see a yellow medical tent-its outside is marked by a wheelchair-and an automobile parked with its trunk open.
- Deliver the medical supplies directly from your inventory inside the tent, then be on your merry way.
- Salewas
- Stock up on the Salewas for a future quest, do not give them away for First in Line.
Shooting Cans
Here is how to complete Shooting Cans:
- You are going to want to pay attention to the Utyos machine gun while on Ground Zero.
- You will also want to grab the AGS grenade launcher while on Ground Zero.
- Eliminate five one-of-a-kind targets on Ground Zero.
While Shooting Cans is, by default, the hardest of the four missions, it shouldn't scare you off. The building with the machine gun in it has blue tinted windows up top and a thin black strip of windows on the bottom. When inside, head straight back to find a door on the right-hand side of the hall behind the reception desk. Take an immediate left and head upstairs, skipping the barbed wire.
Once you come upstairs, just make a left and then right again. You know, come directly into the office without making any turns whatsoever, and it is a machine gun right in front of you.
In the high-rise complex next to the ambulance, the grenade launcher is. Take the stairs to the right of the door and keep right at the escalators inside. At the top of the stairs, just keep going forward till you're at a left-hand door and look out the window for the grenade launcher.
Important: Kill at least five enemies on the ground to trigger the extraction.
How to get every item on Ground Zero Extraction?
Keep in mind where your extract points will be in case you have to make a hasty retreat while you're extracting to complete objectives. The five major zones of Ground Zero are as follows: the Police Checkpoint, the Nakatani Basement, the Mira Prospect, the co-op Scav Checkpoint, and the Emercom Checkpoint. These are always available; all you have to do after completing your objectives is find which one is closest to you.
Inset on the map, in particular, is the Emerson Checkpoint on the bottom left of the map, the co-op Scav at the top left, Mira Prospect at the bottom, Nakatani Basement at the top right, and the Police Checkpoint in the middle.
Approach Mira Prospect with care; the extraction here requires a flare shot into the extract spot - snipers will if you don't.
