The widespread nature of these performance issues, affecting both PC and console players, suggests that the problem lies with the game's optimization rather than individual player setups. Bandai Namco has acknowledged the issue in its 1.01 patch notes, stating that the patch "aims to improve gameplay and stability" and confirming that "some PC configurations using the latest graphics cards may experience frame rate drops. We are currently investigating the cause."While a permanent fix from the developers is anticipated, there are several steps players can take to alleviate screen tearing and improve their gameplay experience.

For PC Players:

Check for Graphics Card Driver Updates:

• Ensuring your graphics card drivers are up-to-date is crucial.
• NVIDIA users: Open the NVIDIA app, navigate to the 'Drivers' tab on the left sidebar, and check for available updates.
• AMD users: Open the AMD app, go to the 'Home' screen, and your current driverversion and any updates will be listed in the top right corner.
• After installing new drivers, a PC restart may be required before relaunching Elden Ring Nightreign.
• Some players with high-end graphics cards report no performance issues, emphasizing the importance of this initial step.

Adjust In-Game Graphics Settings:

• Bandai Namco advises PC players to change in-game graphics settings from the default 'High' to 'Medium' or 'Low'.
• Lowering the game's resolution in the Graphics settings menu may also help reduce screen tearing.

Consider Borderless Windowed Mode (PC Specific):
