The Words of Wisdom are a cover for the formidable Sage class in Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. Getting a Gadabout to level 20 is an option, but finding the book is far easier. With the exception of a few of Hero spells, the Sage has access to practically every spell in the game, making them the most powerful spellcaster in the game.
One copy of the Words of Wisdom can be found in the early game, and the other in the late game, in this particular edition of the game.
We don't yet know which Belisha beacon monsters still drop the item in question, although you can harvest them in the NES version of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. On the other hand, the Words of Wisdom item can be found here if you choose to become a Sage.
Dragon Quest 3 Remake: Where to find Words of Wisdom
In Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, you can find the Words of Wisdom in Rimuldar in the Tower of Transcendence. It was previously called the Book of Satori/Zen Book. The Tower of Transcendence is the first opportunity to obtain one; you can pick it up before you even get the Black Pepper to unlock the boat.
Beyond Alltrades Abbey to the north is the Tower of Transcendence. Even at level 20, this area is still very difficult, but it's perfect for farming Metal Slimes. A Friendly Monster, useful in the Monster Arena, can be found on the way here as well. A red flag will be dangling from the middle of a rope that spans two towers when you reach the very top of this tower. A ceiling that has collapsed will be beneath your feet as you descend from the red flag.
Descend the flight of stairs after making your way to the middle, where the roof has fallen. The first occurrence of Words of Wisdom in Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake may be found in a treasure chest that you'll find when you ascend the flight of stairs to your right. Another one can be found much later on in the game.
Visit the town of Rimuldar after you've gained entrance to Alefgard. A pair of interconnected residences may be seen in the town's northern section. On the left side, you'll see an old man, and inside, you'll find some practical stuff. Having said that, you should go for the one on the right.
You can get the second Words of Wisdom from Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake by entering this house and opening the dresser. These two can be combined to form a pair of Sages, your ultimate spellcasters.
