Where to Find Mulan’s Key in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

If you're like me, you wanted to know what was in that golden chest when you discovered it at Mulan's camp. This may make you want to search for the magic key right away. However, you must wait until the Clearing the Road quest to find it. Clearing the path is the final mission in Mulan's Kingdom. It can only be used after completing other missions, such as training and camp fortification. To unlock this quest, you must briefly return to Dreamlight Valley to find Mulan and Mushu's house.

When you find Mulan's key, you not only get your new dragon villager, but you also get a special item. The key only appears in the kingdom once Mushu realizes he's lost it, so don't bother looking for it until the right time. Once Mushu requests your help in searching for the key, he will appear as a shiny object on the ground just outside the training ground. All you have to do is find the right place, near the three carts at the edge of the kingdom.

To find the key, leave the training ground towards the place where you helped clear the landslide and build the fence. The wall you helped Mushu build is a short distance from the carts you are looking for. The shiny key is located on the ground right next to the cars. To pick it up, simply interact with the key and return to camp to give it to Mushu. After finishing, he will open the chest and give you the final gift for the Mulan Kingdom quest path: the Defender Sword furniture decoration. After that, simply return to Dreamlight Valley, where Mushu and Mulan will officially join your village.
