Prior to this update, all ceilings in the game had the same texture and couldn't be edited. This new feature allows you to completely transform the look and feel of your rooms. How to Customize Ceilings in Your House 🏡

Changing the ceiling in any room of your house is a straightforward process within Furniture Mode. This feature is an essential part of interior decorating, giving you a new level of creative control.

• Enter Your Home: The first step is to be inside your house. This can be your main house in Dreamlight Valley or any other houses you have in the DLC worlds like Eternity Isle. You cannot change the ceiling texture from outside.
• Open Furniture Mode: Access Furniture Mode to begin decorating. On PC, the fastest way is to press the F key. On other platforms, you'll need to open your Inventory first (using the button shown in the top-right corner of your screen), then switch to the Furniture page.
• Find the Ceiling Texture Category: Once in Furniture Mode, look for the Ceiling Texture category. It's easy to find in the menu as it's located in the second-to-bottom row, right between the Floors and Windows categories.
• Select a Texture: The ceiling customization system works just like floors and wallpaper. Simply click on any of the available ceiling textures to apply them instantly to the room. You can change them as many times as you like until you find the perfect look.

How to Fix the Daisy's Boutique Ceiling Texture Bug 🐞

A bug has been reported where some of Daisy's Boutique challenges incorrectly ask you to change the ceiling texture. This is a problem because you cannot edit ceilings in Daisy's Boutique. If you get this specific challenge, don't worry, there's a simple fix.

The solution is to cancel the active challenge and request a new one fromDaisy. This will give you a different set of requirements that you canactually complete.

• Find and Talk to Daisy: Go to Daisy's Boutique and speak with Daisy.
• Cancel the Challenge: In the dialogue options, select the choice to "Cancel the current challenge."
• Confirm: A confirmation pop-up will appear. Select "Yes. Cancel this challenge" to officially end the bugged trial.
• Start a New Challenge: Now you can speak with Daisy again to receive a fresh challenge. If you get the ceiling bug again, just repeat this process. There are nopenalties for canceling challenges, so you can do it as many times asneeded to get a challenge you can complete.
