The quarry can be obtained by selling data disks to Franklyn, which you can only get by deep mining using Mine Pass. But first you will have to make sure to level up your mining certification with points. You will need 3,500 power points to activate Deep Mining.

Deep Mining is the main source of iron ore, or at least until you can access the quarry.


In deep mining, you will find several fossils and stones of high value which you can sell to John. But you will have to place them in the elevator as soon as you find them, as you will not be able to keep them in your inventory.

The data disks are obtained through Deep Mining and as you sell them, the closer you get to the quarry. When you can access the quarry, you will have to get some materials to unlock it:
