The command aspect of Destiny 2 will be difficult to achieve, being one of the most difficult to achieve new additions to the game. It's actually hidden behind a pretty interesting puzzle, and you won't be able to accomplish it until you're very far into the campaign, or very soon.

How to get the Facet of Command in Destiny 2?

The Command Facet is located in the Heart Pink Impasse. This occurs during the campaign, but I suggest finishing the story completely and then visiting the Impasse because it will become a patrol area.

Take a walk from the landing zone where you are born. Behind you, you will see a path that will take you to the huge wall of the Cosmodrome. You will see a small door that will allow you to enter. Follow the hallway until you reach a locked chest in the region, where there is a pile of ice. Since you'll have to come back here later, remember where that ice is.

Keep walking down the hallway and keep in mind that you only have one option. Follow it until you reach a landing craft hanging from the ceiling. Then, turn left into the next room. Further down the hallway, you'll find some enemies and a Shrieker inside. A prismatic chest near the Shrieker contains the Command Facet. Kill everything and then it's time to start working on opening the chest, which will require a Split Prismatic Key.

You'll see some broken windows against one of the walls; some are large enough for a Guardian to pass through. Find a small secret room by jumping inside. There are three machines inside. The first is a device that will make a Scorch Cannon, so call one. The other two are frozen, so try the Scorch Cannon to see if they can handle heavy orbs. When there is just a pile of ice left, shoot to make a bow charge appear.

You will make three different types of components, each of which can charge one of the machines with the following values:

Canceled with four points
Solar has three points.
Arc has two points.

This is crucial. You will create loadouts for various items and place them in one of two machines to load each item with a different number of slots. Machines only need to take up ten slots, so when placing the bow charge, you will have to place the two emptying charges you get on the same machine. I thought it best to use the one on the right, put one arc and two voids on that one, and then every two charges on the one on the left.

Jump across the gap and take the Scorch Cannon because the next charge is right outside the room. Please note that the first machine may ship it for you every time you need a new one. It will give you a vacuum charge by shooting the ice. Place this on the same machine that received the initial arc charge.

After that, leave the room with your trusty Scorch Cannon and walk down the hallway where the Shrieker was located. The platforms are on the right just after the chest. Jump over them to the end and you will see on the right side a pile of ice. After preparing it to reveal the most recent charge of Void, return to the room and place it in the same machine as the other two, completely completing the charge. We can concentrate on the other machine now. Take a Scorch Cannon and go.

After exiting the chest, you will find an ice block in a frozen hallway just before you reach an orange light. Remove the solar charge and then put it on the new machine. It's time to work on the other corridor. First, hit the chunk of ice hanging from the roof of the ship. This will provide additional arc loading for the second machine.

Then cross the hanging plane until you reach a room illuminated on one side by an intense red light. Go left and go through a small door. You'll enter a mostly frozen room with the ice block that follows. Burn it and it will receive a solar charge. For the final charge, Arc, simply go back to the beginning, near the Region chest, to the first ice block you saw. Take this out, load it up, and then head back to the machine.

After this, jump up and prepare for an attack. Many enemies of the Witness will appear and try to eliminate you. Take care of all of them and prepare to go Prismatic for some of them. If you can't find a prismatic patch on the ground, there is one nearby on top of the suspended ship. Once they're all down, you'll get the Split Prismatic Key and can open the chest to get Face of Command.

What is the role of the command facet?

Freezing or eliminating a target recharges the equipped weapon and improves the weapon's stability, aiming assist, and mid-air effectiveness. HeVictory over a frozen or eliminated target generates a Stasis ShBreach of ard or void.

Void Breach A dimensional rupture teeming with Void energy. When picked up, Void Breaches grant class ability energy.
Stasis Shard A small shard of Stasis matters than can be collected to restore melee energy.
Suppression The target is taken out of any active abilities and cannot activate any abilities or movement modes while suppression is active. Afflict combatants cannot fire their weapons. When suppressed, Overload Champions are stunned.
Freeze The target is trapped in Stasis matter and is unable to move. After taking additional damage while frozen, the target shatters.

Finally, now that we have everything covered about getting the Facet of Command, just follow the instructions to achieve it and continue enjoying Destiny 2.
