These symbols are very important because when you return to Osiris in the Sundial, you will find symbols in the Time Corridors, and what you have to do is that these symbols match the obelisk symbols.
So place the runner symbols in the following order:
Turn the symbols clockwise and end in the center. When you reach the last hall of the Time Corridors you can find a fragment of the tradition, but to find all the fragments you will have to visit each obelisk. You have to keep in mind that the symbols change every hour so you have to be fast in general.
