What you must do to complete the Destiny 2 Ascendant Challenge will be to go to Dreaming City and collect the reward. To do this, you will first go to Aphelion's Rest in the Strand, and make sure you have an Ascendancy status so you can be tracked by the Taken portal and move on.
To do this you must consume a Tincture of Queensfoil, which you can get by buying one, however, that is not the only way to obtain it, since Destiny 2 also gives you the option to tour the City of Dreams and thus acquire them. Finally when you use the Tincture in the Lost Sector west of Aphelion's Rest, you can access the Taken portal and enter to finish the challenge. It should be noted that you will have to wait to be transferred to Ouroborea in the Ascending Plane. You will have to defend yourself against the Abyssal Champions, since they will stand in your way while you try to hunt down the plagues, in order to destroy the scattered crystals around the place. It is worth mentioning that you must navigate between pests on some platforms. Once you manage to destroy all the pests, you will notice that the crystals will not be protected, so destroy them all so that the Abyssal Champions do not get in your way anymore.
