What is Work Station?


The Work Station is a terminal located aboard the USG Ishimura. It is used to control various systems aboard the ship, such as the communications hub and power systems. It is also used to access the various Marker Fragments scattered throughout the ship. To unlock the Work Station, Isaac must complete a side quest known as “You Are Not Authorized”.

To unlock the Work Station in Dead Space Remake, players must first locate and destroy a Tendril in the Deluxe Quarters. Once this is done, they must reroute power from the electrical systems in the Break Room and Maintenance Bay Office. Once this is done, they must locate and use the Circuit Breaker in the Deluxe Shift Bunks. Finally, they must locate and use the Cargo Bay and Dr. T. Kyne’s Office Inquiry Desks. 

Once the above steps have been completed, the player will be able to access the Hidden Room. In the Hidden Room, they will find 12 Marker Fragments scattered throughout the room. To collect the Marker Fragments, players must locate and interact with each one. Locations of the Marker Fragments include the Chief Steward’s Office, Engine Room, and more. 

Once the 12 Marker Fragments have been collected, the player will be able to unlock the Work Station and progress further in the game.
