What is Dead Space Remake?
Dead Space Remake is a horror-thriller game set in deep space, developed by EA Redwood Shores. Players take on the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer trying to survive the Necromorphs, alien creatures bent on killing or mutating everyone and everything in their path. The game features intense action, puzzles and jumpscares, and a deep story.
How to Unlock Alternate Ending in Dead Space Remake?
In order to unlock the secret ending of Dead Space Remake, you must obtain all 12 Marker Fragments. Marker Fragments can be found in the Break Room, the Maintenance Bay Office, the Cargo Bay, the Deluxe Shift Bunks, Inquiry Desks, and the Power Sub Station 03. After gathering all twelve Marker Fragments, take them to the Executive Quarter within the Crew Quarters of the Ishimura. There, Captain B. Mathius’ quarters can be found, inside of which lies a table with twelve candles. Approach it and you will be prompted to activate them. After doing so and completing the game, you will unlock the alternate ending. Note that this must be done before departing from the Ishimura, or you will miss the opportunity and be unable to access the secret ending. Even getting the Marker Fragments does not guarantee the secret ending; you must take them to the designated area before boarding the shuttle to the planet's surface. Do not worry, however; you will receive a warning when you hit the point of no return.
Once the secret ending has been unlocked, you can access the Game Plus mode. This mode allows you to start a new playthrough of the game with all the Marker Fragments already collected, meaning you won't have to search for them again.
Dead Space Remake is a classic horror game with a deep story and intense action. Unlocking the secret ending requires finding all twelve Marker Fragments and taking them to the designated area in the Executive Quarter of the Ishimura. Doing so and completing the game will allow you to access the alternate ending and the Game Plus mode. With the Game Plus mode, you can start a new playthrough of the game with all the Marker Fragments already collected.
