Dauntless, the free RPG video game developed by Phoenix Labs, has a series of levels, each level is quite broad, which will take time to exporarlo. In every battle you must basically look for Behemoth before attacking it, however, many will leave, so what you should do is look for one again.
Although the flashlight for beginners shows you the direction of the giant, this is not usually such an effective tool, it's best to change it for another with better skills.

What you must do is move systematically through the map towards the main edges and toward the center, but you must be very careful not to lose yourself.
You'll have to climb to the points located higher on the map with the reinforcement points while you're advancing. With this you'll get a much wider view, so this will make it easier for you to find a behemoth at a distance. Another element that turns out to be quite useful for your search is the battle music, since this will indicate that you're getting closer to your goal.
However, things will turn out to be much simpler if you work in a team.
