To begin your journey down the crafting in Creatures of Ava, the player must first complete the narrative-driven quest, "Warm Invitation." This quest is received by speaking with Hon'lo and takes you on your way, seeking out three important Welcome Branches. Players may expect to run into this quest within the game's first hour.

Your journey begins as you receive an important item named the western branch, given by Bay'Rash himself. You shall find Bay'Rash resting under a rock next to a quiet and peaceful pond. You may enter this location by going west of the Arsira Village. If it appears difficult for you to trace your way to this place, open your in-game map, and you will see the directions open in front.

Successfully find Bay'Rash, then strike up a conversation in order to unlock the crafting system, and a whole new world of creativity will be opened to you inside Creatures of Ava.

Craft Items

After you complete your conversation with Bay'Rash, camps throughout the map will be unlocked to you. Camps are major crafting stations; at a camp, you can craft most items. There is a campfire just behind Bay'Rash, on the far side of the rock, for your convenience.

Healing Brew: This simple concoction takes but 6 green essence. If you haven't started it yet, a good area to forage in is the pond area itself, near Bay'Rash. This is where you can locate Palia's Fingers and Rosearem Petals for the green essence you need in this.

To begin crafting, right-click the campfire and make sure you have enough resources. Once you have made your Healing Brew, return it to Bay'Rash. He will provide you with the western branch as a token of appreciation for your crafting skills and as a symbol that you have progressed to the next chapter of your adventure.
