As Act 1 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 concludes with the haunting beauty of Clair Obscur, your expedition ventures forth from the rugged Stone Wave Cliffs into the war-torn expanse of the Forgotten Battlefields. Welcoming the resourceful Verso into your party, this new region, nestled within the broader continent, holds a wealth of hidden items and invaluable collectibles waiting to be discovered.
To ensure you maximize your time and leave no stone unturned amidst the remnants of past conflicts, this meticulously crafted guide presents every collectible location in the Forgotten Battlefields in an optimized order, allowing for seamless acquisition as you navigate this intriguing area.

A Systematic Sweep of Forgotten Relics:


  • Polished Chroma Catalyst: Immediately after passing through the Main Gate Flag, keep your eyes peeled for a wooden walkway. Ascend this structure, and upon reaching the top, turn right. Tucked away discreetly in the corner, you'll find the shimmering Polished Chroma Catalyst.
    • 2-3. Ramasson and Longer Shell Pictos: Continuing your journey from the previous find, proceed along the path until you reach a distinct intersection. Engage and defeat the first enemy you encounter in this area. Upon their defeat, they will yield both the Ramasson and Longer Shell Pictos.
  • Troubadin: Keep your guard up! Another enemy lurks nearby the location where you just triumphed. Search the immediate vicinity, and you'll discover the Troubadin collectible dropped by this foe.
  • Energising Start IV Pictos: From the central intersection, chart a course eastward. You're looking for a small, hidden nook distinguished by wooden spikes adorning its top. Venture into this alcove to claim the Energising Start IV Pictos.
  • Colour of Lumina: Return to the intersection and this time, head west. Follow the main road as it stretches out before you until it reaches its natural end. Here, a radiant Colour of Lumina awaits your discovery.
  • Colour of Lumina: Back at the intersection, cast your gaze towards the far west side. You'll notice a narrow, less-traveled path. Follow this winding trail until you stumble upon a fallen corpse. The second Colour of Lumina in this area rests near this somber discovery.
  • Recoat: Turn your attention back and ascend the set of stairs situated near where you found the previous collectible. At the top, explore the crumbling ruins. Within one of the weathered crates, the valuable Recoat collectible lies hidden.
  • Healing Tint Shard: Still within the confines of the same ruins, your search continues. Look for a sword that has become firmly embedded in the ground. The Healing Tint Shard can be found close to this poignant scene.
  • Sweet Kill Pictos: Leave the ruins behind and make your way up the cliff that bears a resemblance to a junkyard, a chaotic collection of forgotten remnants. Upon reaching the summit, turn right to instantly spot the Sweet Kill Pictos.
  • Revive Tint Shard: Return once more to the main intersection. This time, take the eastern path and continue until you find yourself beneath a bridge. Search near a lone tree in this shadowed area to acquire the Revive Tint Shard.
  • Colour of Lumina: Begin your exploration from the Fort Ruins flag. Head west and utilize the handholds to climb upwards. Navigate through the semi-arched gate, and you'll see the luminous Colour of Lumina resting on a prominent stone platform.
  • Colour of Lumina: From your current vantage point, locate the stairs to your right and ascend them. Enter the room where a silent corpse lies. The next Colour of Lumina is situated nearby, a silent testament to fallen times.
  • Energising Death Pictos: Within the same building, ascend one more level. As you traverse this upper floor, keep an eye out for a ledge. The Energising Death Pictos are located here, and remarkably, they are even visible from the floor below.
  • Polished Chroma Catalyst: To claim this particular collectible, you'll need the ability todestroy the peculiar blue spikes that obstruct your path. This abilityis typically acquired after you have successfully located the four lostGestrals scattered throughout the region. Once you possess this skill,return to the area outside the semi-arched gate and shatter the bluespikes blocking access to a hidden room. The second Polished ChromaCatalyst awaits within.
  • Energy Tint Shard:Begin at the Vanguard Point flag and carefully climb down the side ofthe imposing cannon. Once at the base, look behind the large, stationary Gestral. Break the stack of boxes situated beside the grim pile ofcorpses to uncover the Energy Tint Shard.

    • 17-19. Colour of Lumina, Recoat, Polished Chroma Catalyst: Start your search at the Battlefield expedition flag and proceedwestward. You will soon encounter an escaping Petank. Successfullydefeat this fleeing creature to acquire a valuable trio of collectibles: a Colour of Lumina, a Recoat, and another Polished Chroma Catalyst.

  • Colour of Lumina: Thiscollectible is remarkably easy to locate. Simply look directly behindthe Battlefield flag itself, and you'll find another radiant Colour ofLumina.
  • Expedition 41 Journal:From the Battlefield flag, turn around and enter the network oftrenches. Take the first left you encounter within this warren ofearthworks, and you'll discover the insightful Expedition 41 Journal.
  • Colour of Lumina: After adding the journal to your collection, simply step just outside thechamber where you found it. Another Colour of Lumina awaits yourattention in this immediate vicinity.

    • 23-26. Lusteson, Energising Parry Pictos, Colour of Lumina, Polished Chroma Catalyst: Venture deeper into the intricate network of trenches. Your path willeventually lead you to a challenging encounter with the Chromaticminiboss. Triumph over this formidable foe, and you will be rewardedwith a significant haul of collectibles: the Lusteson, Energising ParryPictos, another Colour of Lumina, and a Polished Chroma Catalyst.

  • Empowering Tint Pictos: In the chamber directly adjacent to where you faced the Chromaticminiboss, locate a rope and ascend it. Once at the top, take a moment to survey your surroundings. The Empowering Tint Pictos will be visiblenearby.
  • Chroma Elixir Shard:Obtaining this collectible requires a bit of environmental manipulation. You'll need to locate and shoot three distinct mechanisms to unlock the paint cage that houses the Chroma Elixir Shard. The paint cage itselfis situated near the third mechanism and is easily identifiable once you are in the vicinity. The locations of the three mechanisms are asfollows:

    • The first is at the entrance to the trenches, directly across from a spiky log.
    • The second can be found to the left of the entrance, cleverly concealed behind some crates and barrels.
    • The third is located within a nearby chamber, also hidden behind a stack of boxes and barrels.
  • Expedition 57 Journal:Your next discovery awaits just outside the Ancient Bridge flag. Take alook around the immediate area to find the Expedition 57 Journal.
  • Inverted Affinity Pictos, Benisim, Polished Chroma Catalyst, Recoat, Colour of Lumina: Near the Ancient Bridge flag, you'll encounter the enigmatic Gestralmerchant, Kasumi, who has set up shop amidst the ruins. He offers aunique selection of goods, including the Inverted Affinity Pictos,Benisim, another Polished Chroma Catalyst, a Recoat, and a Colour ofLumina, all available for purchase.
  • Obscur Outfit for Maelle: To unlock the stylish Obscur Outfit for your party member Maelle, youmust first overcome Kasumi in combat. Once defeated, this unique outfitwill become available for purchase within his shop.
  • Dualiso, Combo Attack Pictos, Polished Chroma Catalyst: As you progress through the main storyline, you will eventually facethe formidable story boss, Dualliste. Defeating this powerful opponentwill reward you with the Dualiso, the Combo Attack Pictos, and yetanother valuable Polished Chroma Catalyst.
  • Colour of Lumina:Following your victory over Dualliste, proceed across the bridge thatlies ahead. Climb the small cliff on the other side and look behind aprominent rock to uncover another radiant Colour of Lumina.
  • Colour of Lumina:Continue along the path until you reach a rope leading downwards.Descend the rope, then immediately turn around. You'll spot a small hole in the wall that requires you to crouch to pass through. The finalColour of Lumina in this area awaits you on the other side.
  • Revive Tint Energy Pictos: From your last location, head in the opposite direction and ascend thenearby hill. At the top, you will find the Revive Tint Energy Pictos,completing your collection within the Forgotten Battlefields.
