Where to find all Golden Keys in Cat Quest 3?



How to get Golden Keys in Cat Quest 3 is quite an engaging yet tricky task. While the world of the game does look full of golden coins, not all of them allow access to the much-needed keys. In this section, I will show in great detail where all of them are located:

Golden Key 2: Second Floor



  • Location: North of Purvanna Island, near the Golden Tower.
  • Process: The coin is located next to a palm tree, and by following it to sea, you'll reach the location known as Pawt Purvanna. The key will be in a chest at that location.


Golden Key 3: Third Floor



  • Location: Southeast of Purvanna, between Purtigua and the Twin Islands - coordinates 46, 10.
  • Process: Follow the coin west of Long Island. The key will be in a chest on the eastern part of the island.


Golden Key 4: Fourth Floor



  • Location: Northwest of the map, on a small island in the Sunset Islands.
  • Process: Go to the island and follow the coin west into the maze-like island near the pixelated castle.


Golden Key 5: Fifth Floor



  • Location: Furggy Island, southwest corner of the map.
  • Process: Travel to the middle of the island and follow the coin west to the location between two palm trees. The key is in a chest there.


Additional Tips



  • Level Up: The Higher the level, the easier it is to get the keys. Especially for Golden Key 4 and 5.
  • Patience: These coin trails get pretty long in some instances. So, prepare for a little hike.
  • Explore: Offtrack venturing can pay off quite nicely sometimes in finding hidden treasures or useful shortcuts.


Golden Key 1 – First Floor



The Golden Key 1 is on the first floor, but more involved than perhaps it sounds. To pick it up, you're going to want to head west to the westernmost edge of the Twilight Isles.


There, under a single palm tree, is a coin like no other. This is your ticket of entry to the chest where Golden Key 1 is rumoured to be kept. With the coin in your possession, follow its course of magic. It will take you northwards and then eastwards until it brings you to the area of the northernmost island that makes up the isles of Twilight.


But finally, you reached the chest and opened it, and then disappointment would strike again. The chest is empty! Of course, your first mate will suspect foul play. Some scoundrel has already gotten his grubby hands on the Golden Key, and now it's anyone's guess where.


The plot thickens. Where the heck in the world could the thief have hidden the key? Maybe they are taking it to another island or selling it to some rival pirate. The possibilities are endless. Continue the search, peeling your eyes to all the clues that point you toward the elusive Golden Key 1.


Golden Tower Treasure Hunt



  • Location: The Golden Tower, which is located on the northern tip of Purvanna Island.
  • Requirement: Four Golden Keys.


Process:


  • Enter the Tower: When you finally get four Golden Keys, reach the Golden Tower, knock down the giant gates in front of the dungeon, and enter the ancient dungeon inside. Right from the entrance, a sense of adventure and anticipation fills you.
  • Beat the Pi-rat: You will also find inside the Pi-rat, who claims to be in possession of your Golden Key. Be ready for a strong fight as you go up against this guileful opponent. Defeating the Pi-rat in a confrontation gives way to the treasures of the tower, proving you a true adventurer.
  • Conquer the Tower: The Golden Tower will be yours to conquer. Traverse immense ladders, open for unlocking huge gates disguising worlds of treasures and secrets of centuries. On the road, find gold objects and integral parts of the legendary Golden Armor set to gain abilities and enhance appearance.
  • Face the Boss: The guardian of the tower, a big boss, stands between you and the ultimate treasure at the end of the journey. As fearsome this boss may be, it's not impossible to beat if one has enough skill and determination to make this final hurdle. Success in beating the boss yields the Golden Shield, a strong weapon that unleashes a rain of destructive gold coins with each successful block that would hit enemies around and deal massive damages.
