Now, we have prepared a guide on how to easily navigate the post-game world of Cat Quest 3 to help you deal with the transition and get back to your adventures most seamlessly.
How to Get Back to Main World in Cat Quest 3?
Well, there is an illogical and frustrating design flaw in the post-game of Cat Quest 3. After defeating the final boss triumphantly, players are whisked back to the title screen, where all options—starting a new game or continuing the current one—are available. This latter option is a lie, because instead of continuing the story, it bizarrely sends the player back to a save state before the final battle. This unexpected development shoehorns players into what could prove to be an endless cycle, where returning to the boss area triggers the endgame sequence again.
Instead, players must fall back on an unlikely workaround if they hope to bypass this puzzling roadblock and reach the post-game world. They need to work their way back to the start of the final area, then interact twice with a plinth there to unlock a hidden passage leading back into the open world. Only then can the player explore the surroundings, complete other side quests, collect remaining items, and enrich their character with the hard-won gold earned over the course of the journey. One thing that makes this rather convoluted solution all the more frustrating is the fact that no clue is given within the game for its completion and this path is simply left to be discovered by the player through trial and error. What a big oversight that is, greatly hurting the fun of a game and making an unnecessary obstacle in the way for any player who wants to see the full content that Cat Quest 3 has in store.
