Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine near the arena entrance to re-farm him for his legendary loot.

- Whiskey Foxtrot (Legendary Assault Rifle): A powerful weapon with a high fire rate and a unique passive that enhances mobility.
- Pacemaker (Legendary Repkit): This repkit offers powerful healing and utility, making it a valuable item for any support player.
- Sho Kunai (Legendary Grenade): This grenade is known for its high damage and unique passive that grants a movement speed buff with each consecutive hit.
How to Beat Horace: A Strategic Breakdown
Horace is a multi-phase boss fight that requires a different approach in each phase.
Phase 1: Dealing with Summons: Horace will start the fight by summoning a variety of minions, including flying Witnesses and homing projectiles.- Strategy: Your top priority should be to eliminate these threats immediately. They can deal a surprising amount of damage and can easily flank you, leading to an early death. Use a weapon with a high fire rate to quickly clear them out.
Save Ground Enemies for a Second Wind: This is a crucial strategy for survival. In most Borderlands games, when you are downed, you can get a "Second Wind" by killing an enemy.- Strategy: Leave a few ground enemies alive as a backup. If you get downed, youcan quickly kill one of them to get back in the fight and avoid afrustrating "game over."
Phase 2: Dodging the Scythe Attacks: In the second phase, Horace will become more aggressive, using a series of scythe attacks and shockwave slams.- Strategy: His scythe combos are fast and deadly. Your best bet is to dash left or right to evade them. You can also dash midair to avoid chained attacks, making him much easier to handle.
Use Pillars for Cover: Throughout the fight, Horace will fire projectile volleys that can overwhelm you.- Strategy: The arena is filled with pillars. Use them to your advantage! They canbe used as cover to block incoming fire, allowing you to reload or healsafely. You can also use them to reposition yourself and get a bettershot at Horace.
Exploit Elemental Weaknesses: Horace has two major elemental weaknesses.- Weaknesses: Shock (effective against shields) and Incendiary (burns through health quickly).
- Tip: Before you start the fight, equip weapons with these elements. Thiswill allow you to quickly strip away his shields and melt his healthbar, making the fight significantly shorter.
By following these strategies, you'll be able to defeat Horace and claimhis legendary loot for yourself. Happy hunting, Vault Hunter!
