How to Find Frangible Legendary SMG in Borderlands 4

The Frangible is one of the most unique and peculiar weapons in Borderlands 4. Despite being a Legendary SMG manufactured by Daedalus, it is largely considered a "meme weapon" by the community. On the item card, it displays a blank DPS stat and lacks any of the unique effects, manufacturer parts, or red text typically associated with Legendary gear.Although its damage output is negligible, the weapon still possesses a certain novelty value for players who enjoy collecting rare or unusual items. The minimal damage it does deal comes almost entirely from your character’s passive skills and gear bonuses.

Borderlands 4: Frangible Legendary SMG Locations

The Frangible is a world drop, meaning it does not have adesignated enemy or boss that it drops from. Instead, it has a very lowchance of dropping from a number of different sources. This makes it one of the more difficult Legendary weapons to specifically farm.

The best ways to increase your chances of finding the Frangible are:

• Red and Gold Chests: The Frangible has a small chance to spawn when you open any red or gold chest in the game. You can farm these chests in various locations toincrease your odds. A good spot for farming red chests is Stillshore in the Bonescape area of the Fadefields region.
• Bosses: The weapon can also drop as a random reward from any boss in the game. You can farm easy-to-defeat bosses like Sidney Pointylegs and Frank the Furnace to get a chance at the Frangible while also earning other loot andexperience. However, be aware that using Moxxi’s Big Encore machine torepeat these fights will require a significant amount of Eridium orcash.
• Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode: Playing on a higherdifficulty, such as Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, increases the overalldrop rate of Legendary items, which in turn boosts your chances offinding a world-drop Legendary like the Frangible.
