How to Get a Free Ray Gun in Black Ops 7 Zombies

For players who have been exploring the beta, or those who will be jumping in on day one, there's a neat Easter egg that allows you to get a free Ray Gun, a fan-favorite Wonder Weapon.Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get your very own Ray Gun from "Chompy."

The Location of Chompy

Chompy is not a character, but rather a unique object on the map. You can find this special trash can on the southern portion of Vandorn Farm, situated between the main farmhouse and the barn. You'll know you've found Chompy because it will occasionally shake on its own.

How to Get a Free Ray Gun

Once you've located Chompy, getting a Ray Gun is a matter of trial and error. The process is as follows:

• Melee Chompy: Walk up to the trash can and melee it. This will cause the lid to open, revealing its "mouth."
• Feed Chompy: You can now feed Chompy either your current weapon or a piece of Lethal Equipment (like a grenade). Simply press the interact button while aiming at theopen lid to feed it your weapon, or toss your lethal inside.
• Collect Your Reward: After being fed, Chompy will spit out three items. These items arealmost always Salvage, a valuable resource for crafting and upgrading.
• Repeat: The trick is to keep feeding Chompy. While the chances of getting a Ray Gun are random, they seem to be higher than in the traditional MysteryBox. You can feed Chompy up to three times per round.

Tips for Maximizing Your Chances

If you're determined to get a Ray Gun quickly, here are a few tips:

• Use Lethal Equipment: The most efficient way to farm Chompy is by using your LethalEquipment. Since Lethals are replenished from zombie drops and Max Ammopower-ups, it's a much more sustainable method than sacrificing a weapon you might need.
• Team Up: Playing with friends can speedup the process. Since you can get more than one Ray Gun from Chompy,each player can feed it to increase the squad's chances of getting thecoveted Wonder Weapon.

The Chompy Easter egg provides areliable way to get a Ray Gun early on, giving you a significantadvantage in the early rounds. It's a fun and rewarding secret forplayers to discover and adds to the replayability of the map.
