If you’ve been struggling to find this elusive weapon, worry no more—we’ve cracked the code. Below, we break down every step required to unlock the Aether Blade, including hidden painting locations, the Safe Key method, and how Mister Peeks plays a crucial role.

Prerequisites: What You Need Before Starting

Before attempting this Easter Egg, ensure you have:
✔ Mister Peeks Field Upgrade (Unlocked via the 90s Action Heroes event starting August 21)
✔ ARC-XD Support Item (Craftable for 1,000 Salvage)
✔ Pack-a-Punch Machine Activated

Step 1: Collect the 3 Hidden Paintings

To begin, you must locate and place three mysterious paintings in the Director’s Office. Here’s where to find them:

Painting #1 – T1 Project Janus Reception

• Located behind the left door near the Pack-a-Punch teleporter.
• Place it on the empty frame in the Director’s Office (closest to The Arsenal).

Painting #2 – T2 Sublevel 10

• Found in the northeast corner, near the yellow railing of the Particle Accelerator.
• Place it beside the first painting in the Director’s Office (near the zombie barrier).

Painting #3 – T2 Android Assembly

• Hidden behind a pillar surrounded by wet floor signs.
• Place it on the north wall of the Director’s Office.

Step 2: Obtain the Safe Key

Next, you’ll need the Safe Key, which requires an ARC-XD explosion:

Craft an ARC-XD (1,000 Salvage) at the T2 Dark Entity Containment crafting table.

Deploy the drone downstairs and guide it through a hole in the wall near the left stairs.

Detonate it near the Dark Aether crystals.

Return upstairs and shoot the remaining crystals near the Forsaken’s prison.

The Safe Key will spawn—pick it up!

Step 3: Open the Safe with Mister Peeks

Now, head back to the Director’s Office:

Locate the painting opposite the desk (near the Pack-a-Punch portal).

Activate Mister Peeks in front of it—the painting will drop, revealing a hidden safe.

Note: Only one player can obtain it per game, but teammates can duplicate it using the Picky Eater augment on Vulture Aid.
