As players explore Terminus Island, they may find a Loot Key. But what good is this piece of Black Ops 6 Zombies loot? Given the abundance of secrets in Terminus, it's not surprising that this one could be a bit tricky to uncover. Fortunately, using Loot Keys to unlock the Armory is a rather straightforward process.

Making a Key to Loot

The first thing gamers should do is get a Loot Key. As you defeat mini-boss opponents like Amalgams and Manglers, you may find a random drop that contains a Loot Key. If you examine the enemies' loot drops after they die, you might find a Loot Key that you can add to your inventory. On the other hand, depending on the success rate, players may receive a Loot Key after finishing a S.A.M. Trial; extra rewards are available upon completing the trial to the Legendary level.

Although players may come across Loot Keys of Green and Blue rarity, it's better to simply let them fall to the ground and hope for a fortuitous drop of a Loot Key of Purple or Orange, which will provide the greatest benefits when used.

How to Use Loot Keys on Terminus in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Inside the Armory, on the lower level of the Control Center, to the left of Stamin-Up, you'll find lockers that can be utilized with Loot Keys. A simple hint to enter the Armory will show up when players approach the closed door in the room's left corner. Players will be given 45 seconds to use their Loot Key, which will be converted to an Armory Key, to interact with the yellow lockers once they enter.

Players can unlock a plethora of goodies based on the rarity of the Loot Keys they use in the Armory. A player's chances of obtaining Salvage, Essence, various weapon rarities, Scorestreaks, and, with any luck, a Perk-a-Cola or a Wonder Weapon, do increase.

The Armory has a 45-second time limit before players are thrown out and sent to wait for the following round to use it again. Zombie spawns will not be able to occur within the Armory, so players may relax. Upon leaving, you can eliminate any zombies in the Control Center by releasing an Aether blast.

Although the Armory is often secure, on sometimes a crawler may be able to cross into the zombie spawn room located to the right of the room.
