All across Liberty Falls, you'll see Mystery Boxes. They appear at random locations around the map, and you can approach one to try your luck at winning the weapon. Visit a Mystery Box when you've accumulated enough Essence Points to gamble for an arbitrary weapon. The Thrustodyne M23 could be yours in Black Ops 6 Zombies if you're fortunate.
But it's all down to chance, so there's no assurance that this strategy will work.
The Development of the Thrustodyne M23
In Black Ops 6's zombie mode, this is your sole bet at acquiring the Thrustodyne M23. You'll need to put in some effort, but luck isn't involved either. Gather the following materials (in any sequence): electrical wires, a handbrake, and a water pressure gauge.
This is the way it can be done:
- The Water Valve can be obtained at Lily's Flowerpot on Washington Ave.
- Finding the Water Pressure Panel is the next step, so visit the Bowling Alley. Destroy it by shooting it.
- Join the Valve and activate the Water Pressure. The pressure will only build up after you do it several times. The water pressure gauge will deflate when sufficient pressure has been built up.
- Go on over to the cemetery that's close to the church now. The Tool Shed Key may be obtained by locating and killing the Groundskeeper zombie once you get there.
- You can get to the shed outside the graveyard by looking for it and using the key. It can be found on the right side of the stairs leading into the cemetery. You can locate the Handbrake here.
- Locating a Mangler Canon should be your next step. You can either use a Mutant Injection or construct them on the crafting table.
- Use the Mangler Canon to shot open the entrance of the Radio House Electronic Superstore on Riverside once you've found it.
- Sift through the piles of stuff on the floor and engage with each item until you locate the wires that connect them. Once you have gathered all three elements, the next step is to create the Thrustodyne M23.
- Go around to the beginning and ascend to the second floor of the motel. If you came up the front stairs, you'll see a shattered door in the hallway on your left.
- Inside this chamber, you should see a crafting table. All you have to do is begin putting together your Jet Gun.
